This assignment is designed for you to take the initial steps in using a notation program. We recommend using MuseScore for this.
Info and Instructions:
You need a title centered at the top of the score, the text of the title is up to you.
Your full name should be placed in the composer field, below and to the right of the title.
You need a single staff with a bass clef. A 4/4 time signature would be nice, but is not required.
Notate the following pitches on your staff: B D E ~ B D F E ~ B D E ~ D BNote: the tilde "~" is just placed to help separate the letters here, it does not need to be notated. Although, if you want to, try a quarter-note rest in each place you find it.
When using a notation program for one of these assignments, you will need to export your score as a PDF. Most notation programs will have an "Export as PDF", or "Print as PDF" option. If it doesn't, consider changing programs. Once you have your score saved as a PDF, upload it to the assignment in your course. Here are instructions for exporting a PDF in MuseScore. And here are instructions for exporting a PDF using Flat.io.
